Davis: Shaq offered 'little apology'

Free agent Ricky Davis -- who said Shaquille O'Neal called him with a ''little apology'' after Shaq took a verbal shot at Davis and Chris Quinn -- said he's looking for midlevel exception money ($6 million annually). It's unlikely Miami would go nearly that high, though he can be re-signed without using the exception.

Ricky, I am sorry you are on such a crappy team.

Davis doesn't need any apology from Shaq, neither does Quinn. It's silly to think that these spoiled souls in professional sports require things like to make the happy.

As for Davis's money request, he won't get much IMO. He had the chance to take over as "The Man" when Wade and the rest of the starters went down with injury, but he didn't. He was unable to show much of anything. He blew his big chance to showcase his skills as a scorer.

Oh well, count your lucky stars and the cash you've made for yourself. Gas prices are rising Ricky, don't waste your money.

Miami should resgin him, but not for that much. He would be good of teh bench.

Send Davis packing. Keep D-Wade and almost nothing else.

D-Wade's going to the Clippers. He wants Wins!

There is a Reason where ever Ricky has gone that team has tanked or become awful. Shaq was right. Ricky Avis no D does just that and doesn't care about the flow of the offense. It honestly just pisses me off to see what KG had to try to play with his last couple of years in Minny.

D-wade deserves to be with a winning team. He's a class act and will try to tough it out and see if the Heat can rebuild. Nobody ever said loyalty and logic were one and the same. Try as he might the rebuilding task is a multi-year task. I'd like to see him make a move out West. Where the uptempo plays to his skill set, but the question what team has a core team that they'd break-up in order to acquire D-wade? Maybe G-state, but my bet is with the Mavs. After this post-season, another one where they won't get past the 1st round, I see the Mavs making a move for D-wade. They got experience with Jason Kidd, but they desperately need a veteran with a ring to get a Championship to Big D. Of course this all rest on D-wade wanting to leave Miami. Only time will tell. Go SPURS Go!

IN 2009, W-WADE WILL GO TO LA, WHILE LEBRON WILL GO TO NY.

This is good for the NBA.
