Sources say Scott Skiles is being romanced by the Bucks and Grizzlies. . . . Rick Carlisle appears to have a clear path to the Bulls. . . . P.J. Carlesimo's future with the Sonics is real shaky; too many players aren't fond of him and none are named Latrell Sprewell. . . . Should the Raptors, losers in 13 of last 20, get bounced in the opening round, Sam Mitchell, word has it, could be in jeopardy with two years left on his deal.

The Bulls should see and wait what happens with the Avery Johnson and the Mavs. If Dallas loses in the first round and fires Johnson, Chicago should hire Johnson.

Report Offensive CommentThe Sonics don't like PJ? Too bad, they suck!! PJ needs to develop Durant, and their GM needs to turn all those draft picks into some talent to support him. Players should worry about their jobs not the coach, and the Sonics GM should make that clear.

Report Offensive Commentthe Bulls just need a coach who realizes you have to have a PG to win in the NBA. Skiles and Boylan refused to give their only PG, Duhon, the minutes. Yes Hinrich and gordon are both better overall players, but neither one is a PG (and neither are Hughes or Sefalosha. When Duhon got minutes, the offense actually scored. Either play Duhon (if he is even around) or get a better alternative

I thought that the Bucks were going to try to hire Carlisle to beat the Bulls to it, but it looks as if the Bulls may get him after all.
It will be interesting to see if Jeff Van Gundy returns to coaching, and where. After Carlisle, he is the next best coach available.

Report Offensive CommentI don't think van gundy wants to coach right now; he could be a good fit for raptors, but I think for now he's had enough of coaching.
