Cowboys sick of Pacman talk

Frankly, many of the Cowboys' defensive players are already sick of talking about Pacman Jones. They roll their eyes at the mention of his name and insist they don't need him to win the Super Bowl. Or even a playoff game. They do, however, respect his talent. And as long as he shows up at their Valley Ranch training complex and tries to fit in and be a good teammate, they'd like to have him around. They aren't going to babysit Jones. Several have made that abundantly clear during an informal survey. They'll tell him where to go for a good time and give him the names of various places he should avoid. They'll invite him to their frequent off-season pool and bowling outings and their weekly dinners during the season. But the players insist they're not going to be part of Jerry Jones' security force.

He better D.A.M.N. well know that as long as he has that star on his helmet, that Jesus is the only one that can "make it rain".

Once Pacman brings some strippers to the pool and bowling outings, the Cowboys will start to warm up to him.

Wow as if the COWBOYS needed another reason for people to hate them. This will help keep them away from another SB. More gas for the fire.

I'm sick of the Pacman talk too. Hopefully he has learned his lesson and is ready to play, if not he'll be out of the league for good.

As long as I don't have to see the back of Jacque Reeves jersey getting burned all the time, I'm happy. Really no risk involved in this, so I'll take it.

Jones and TOe on the same squad: get used to distractions.

Wow- TO and Pacman! Hopefully the Cowboys can keep there players out of trouble

...Bring me you tired, your poor, your malcontents, your ne'er do wells and those teetering on lifetime bans. I lift my lamp beside the silver helmet (with the blue star).

This is not a Cowboys bashing statement -

A man is paralyzed so why does Pacman deserve another shot at this time.

The legal matters should be handled first.

You do know that the man who shot the bouncer has been arrested and Pacman ID'd him?

April 24, 2008  07:33 AM ET

They are sick of it? Have they had 501 of these stories to read?

The Cowboys were smart with this one. If he does good and plays......a 4th round pick.

If he does bad and gets the boot, the Cowboys get the pick back. How is that a bad deal? If it works it works.

Sure he's a talented guy that will alleviate two glaring needs for the Cowboys. But what does this say of the integrity of the Cowboys management, namely Jerry Jones?

What company or organization hires an employee with a rap sheet as long as his arm. Regardless if he has gotten off the charges or not, he seems to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time or is it the other way around?

Good luck with that mess of a talent; because talent only gets you so far when limited by a mindless, selfish attitude.

Whalers,

There will always be people out there that hate the Cowboys, no matter what they do.

Wow CowboyDave, any bent up frustration? Seems like this guy is already imploding the fan base.

Nice work Pacman, keep it up.
