Rodriguez sought Michigan job
Michigan football coach Rich Rodriguez sought the U-M job before school officials approached him in December, according to documents obtained by West Virginia University's attorneys. A representative of Rodriguez's contacted Michigan on Dec. 11, WVU attorney Jeffrey Wakefield said on Wednesday. The contact occurred three days before Rodriguez met with U-M president Mary Sue Coleman and athletic director Bill Martin in Toledo to interview for the position.

This is getting pretty ridiculous. I believe this will ultimately be settled out of court but this has become personal for both sides. Both sides will be stupid if they let this continue to drag out in court.

I give this guy 3 years at Michigan. Too much baggage for UM. It has got to be getting old for the Wolverine faithful. Where there's smoke, there is fire.

Both sides need to get this over with ASAP. Rodriguez is gone. He's not coming back. He needs to make out a check to WVU and move on.

"Let it go"
The phrase is becoming absolutely comical to me
Let what go? The fact he lost the biggest game in the programs history with horrendous play calling. The fact that he left and took 80 percent of the coaching staff with him. The fact that half the class decommitted after he left. The fact that he owes the University 4 million dollars. The fact that he was outed this week for fabricating racial allegations against the administration...
Let it go?? Its been less than 6 months and you were using this phrase the day after he left. You are obviously not very intelligent and just regurgitating a slogan the national media has coined.

What WVU fans do not want to admit, is they are in those "Big Games" because of Rodriguez.

I will admit that Rodriguez won with the best player in the programs history and he really didn't start winning until Boston College, VT, and Miami left the Big East. When you aren't playing 3 of the best programs in the Big East anymore you look alot better than you actually are.
Pay up Rich and it will all be over.

Rod had a winning percentage of 58% before Pat White arrived and 93% after... what else needs to be said except oh snap, he wasn't even the one who recruited Pat White and he didn't even start him until the 4th game of that season... Sounds like an offensive guru to me!!!

Oh yeah, he was also 0-2 in bowl games before and 3-0 after... When Louisville was came back on us in the 4th quarter this year and we needed to win on the last drive of the game what did this offensive genius call? 7 qb dive plays in a row!!! After the 5th consecutive call you see Pat get up off the ground, look to the sidelines for the call... he sees that it is another QB dive and you can read his lips saying "f--king again?" Finally 2 plays later he does his Pat White thing, breaks a 51 yard run and scores the winning TD. It's all about Pat. Period.

So much for Michigan's A.D. Martin stealing WVU's Coach. I gave Skipper Martin to much credit. Maybe Skipper Martin stole the other "80%" of their coaches MTCRUD. They certainly could not have wanted to leave WVU for Michigan. Maybe Boston College,VT, and Miami left the Big East for the same reasons that WVU's coaches left. Sounds like it's time to turn the lights off down there-keep it green.
