The wish list that Donnie Walsh is compiling will include Chuck Person, a Walsh protege who is currently an assistant coach with the Sacramento Kings. An NBA executive told Newsday that Walsh is expected to contact Kings president Geoff Petrie for permission to interview Person, who spent six of his 13 seasons as a player with the Indiana Pacers.

Report Offensive CommentNo matter how many FN updates there are on this subject, I still think Mark Jackson will get the job.

Report Offensive CommentThe Knicks' search should include ANY and ALL "PERSONS". Anything is better than what they had.

Report Offensive CommentI'm convinced Walsh is almost as dumb as Isiah. All I can say is, I told you so. Of all the people rumored to be in the mix, not one candidate with a positive side. Now he's waiting to see who is fired from a job he wasn't able to do elsewhere.

Report Offensive Commentanother dumb idea; I know a middle sc hool coach who is looking for a coaching job; of course he never played the game, but he has won as many games as the last two coaches combined.

Report Offensive CommentI think a person is just what they need. Now that that's done, who thinks the Spurs looked a little old last night? You can see the age catching up with them, I mean when Tim dunked on Amare the second time, I thought wow he's so old. Let's not even begin to talk about Parker, I mean where is his head at? He needs to get in the game, only 41 points. Man he's probably just thinking of which island he'll take Eva to after the season's over. They are done. I think the Suns will roll off 4 straight. You can just see it in their eyes, the hunger, the longing, the focus. Suns in 7 baby. (HA!)
