Ryan: No decision on manager

Posted: Sunday April 27, 2008 07:26AM ET

Rangers president Nolan Ryan said Saturday that he and general manager Jon Daniels are looking at all aspects of the organization, including manager Ron Washington, but that no decisions have been made. Daniels also stressed patience. He said he talks to Washington every day, but doesn't have additional meetings planned with him at this time. "Ron is our manager," Daniels said. "I'm a Ron Washington man."

Kiss of death.

Seriously, I am a Rangers fan and something needs to change, but Ron Washington is not throwing the pitches that are getting jacked or making the numerous errors in the filed. Josh Hamilton has been awesome, so lets hope they do not trade him!

First of all they need to dump Daniels, he's useless. I thought Don Wakamatsu should have gotten the job but it's too early to dump Washington. Still, I think his lineups need some work.

Report Offensive Comment

Daniels was doomed from the start, since Hicks refuses to give him the flexibility he needs to put together a solid team. I seriously doubt any GM working the majors today would do much better than Daniels. Give the kid a break!

Nolan don't like him.

....or maybe the Twins just stink!! Kinda like the Rangers pitching...

So uninspired... I have tickets to games I don't even want to take my kids to see.
