Where did Myers' fastball go?

The fastball that made Brett Myers a first-round draft pick in 1999 is nowhere to be found. The pitch that hit 95 m.p.h. suddenly cannot break 88 m.p.h. Said Myers: "It's not like I'm hurting. It's not like it's aching. It's not like I can't throw or anything like that. I've had times where it is barking and still go out there and throw 92, 93 [m.p.h.]. But right now it just isn't coming out. It's like doo-doo going up there."

I agree, although Lidge is tearing it up, so I'm glad we got him. I just don't think Myers is the number 1 everyone on the team thinks he is.

FMSD he didn't kick her, he slapped her. Get it right. And that slapping may have caused some tendon tearing, thus dropping the velocity on his fastball, so it is pretty much her fault his career is doo-doo brown.

Just kidding...abuse is not funny. And it's just not fun.

Isn't this what the reporter was asking him about last year? Maybe this is what he should have said in that presser: "I don't know why I can't throw very hard. I guess it's because I'm a **** ****. I don't know **** about **** baseball."
