McCready confirms Rocket affair

Barricaded behind tightly drawn blinds at her Nashville home Monday, country singer Mindy McCready confirmed a long-term affair with embattled pitcher Roger Clemens. "I cannot refute anything in the story," a tearful but resolute McCready told the Daily News, which broke the story at midnight Sunday. After the teenage McCready met Clemens at a Fort Myers bar called The Hired Hand, she returned with the Rocket to his hotel room, but there was no sex that night, sources told The News. It wasn't until later, after McCready had moved to Nashville and become a country singing star, that the relationship turned intimate.

It;s book time for this young lady. Sure she has done drugs abd this and that, but hey it is time to cash in. Heck I would spend time with her. She is a cutey-pie. Clemens is now in perv city and that old dusty, mop headed attorney cannot get him out of this - fact of life.

In all seriousness, I'm glad to hear her say that it didn't start out as sexual.

That puts Clemens in the much bigger category of guys who cheat on their wives, rather than the smaller, creepier category of men who sleep with children.

I heard members of ESPN's PTI say that his private life is his business. In this case, seeing she was only 15 at the beginning of the fling makes this a rape case if I'm not mistaken and should definetly be looked into by authorities. It doens't matter if she consented. Clemmens is a pig!

Thats all well and good Mindy but the story in todays Herald says the relationship according to your family was platonic and this is a non story?.
Which is it?

I dont put alot of stock in a woman who's addicted to painkillers and alcohol and hits her own mother in front of the grandchildren. I'll wait for further evidence.
And what exactly were you doing in a bar at the age of 15?

Roger, if this is true though, you may as well put that gun to the temple. Or consider a move to Tibet. You will be quite possibly more hated than Manson.
