Cowboys will listen to WR offers

What are the chances off the Cowboys getting Roy Williams, Chad Johnson or Anquan Boldin in a trade? I'd say pretty slim now. Jerry Jones said Sunday such substantial deals usually aren't done after the draft. He did, however, make it clear he stands ready to listen to all offers.

Ahhh -- Texas -- can those people breathe without knowing how Jones wiil let it impact America's Team?

April 29, 2008  07:26 AM ET

the pack and going to get him

April 29, 2008  07:28 AM ET

I am not goping to mention how the paragraph above mentions "slim" and "chances" and I'll just let all the talk commence.

April 29, 2008  07:30 AM ET

I doubt Mr Im a Little Teapot Johnson goes anywhere. The salary cap hit would be gi-normous..

April 29, 2008  07:36 AM ET

Never say never!

April 29, 2008  07:36 AM ET

As a Cowboy fan I would rather have Roy Williams then C.Johnson

I'd rather get Boldin.

Gratz to the Cowboys for being willing to listen to trade offers that contain the names Roy Williams, Chad Johnson or Anquan Boldin.

Here's the real non story, so are the 31 other teams in the NFL.

April 29, 2008  07:57 AM ET

Boldin or R.Williams would be better than "Mr. I Aint Happy" Johnson.

Good one jackmanrob! They may talk like that on "BBall" forums, but in here we need sentences that actually make some sort of sence. And that one doesn't qualify.

Exactly! Thank you

I think that by AZ drafting a CB this year the birds really don't have anything to offer trade wise. I would love to see Boldin in eagles green though

bball, don't let these fools sweat you.......they want you to think you're 'deficient, when you're just different'.....HA!

....and Thank You.

April 29, 2008  08:37 AM ET

Is it not the least bit ironic that the two people who are criticizing the grammar of others both either misspelled or misused two very simple words?

April 29, 2008  08:43 AM ET

I like the fact that the article says "chances are pretty slim". I know hes a great reciever, but his ego along with TO would be a volatile mixture for the next superbowl champions! Yeah baby bring on football season!

April 29, 2008  08:52 AM ET

I really don;t know if you can have TO and johnson trying to share the ball. Thats not to mention the rookie RB jones, MBIII, and witten that all need touches. That could get ulgy

April 29, 2008  08:54 AM ET

Man,

I really wish the Eagles were more aggressive when looking to make trades and obtain big time receivers. I get the impression that we are gun shy now after the entire TO fiasco.

If we can stay healthy, we are only 1 big receiver away from a Super Bowl Lock.

There are no "locks" just ask any dallas or new england fans.
The eagles definitly improved in the offseason and will be a tough team to beat this season... but again.... locks do not exist.
