Let people think what they want! Just play hockey! At this point, were only effected by the Refs and that **** Bettman! The refs tried effing us over against Washington & it didnt work, so now their trying to do it to us against Montreal! I mean, 2 penalities in 1 play & the #1 powerplay can't produce, they needed a 5 min major to score!! It so convienent how they either miss penalities or catch us doing nothing! Not to fear Flyers fans, the series is almost over!

It's true - the league doesn't want the Flyers to succeed in the playoffs. They're letting their track record interfere with getting a fair game called for them. It's just one of the many things wrong with NHL officiating.

You don't have to tell me about tradition. I'm old enough to remember Kate Smith singing it live. To be honest, I think "God Bless America" should be the U.S. national anthem, but I'm sure the word "GOD" makes the pinkos nervous. As far as the officiating, when you cultivate a certain image, you're going to have to pay the price. It's like the Oakland Raiders. Every transgression is magnified.

Other teams fans are jealous of the Flyers team history, success, first expansion team to win Stanley Cup, The Broad Street Bullies, a ton of great players, and 100% total fan support. They wish their team had half of these things. If the NHL had 10 more teams like this, they would be the #1 pro sport, instead of being on Versus.

They can hate us all they want when we are drinking from the Cup in about six weeks.

Ummm people who aren't fans of the Flyers hate them. Conversely, people who aren't fans of Montreal will hate them. Honestly, I've seen more Flyer's fans on this thread than any other I'd bet.

It's nothing more than team allegiances, and any Flyer fan that thinks it's jealousy or any crap like that is just wrong.

Great story. Of course the Canadians especially hate the Flyers since they're owning them in this series.
