Facing the overwhelming task of coming back from an 0-3 deficit against the Penguins, the Rangers may have to do it without veteran center Chris Drury. Drury, who went to the dressing room with an undisclosed injury at 13:45 into the second period, was clearly struggling in the third.

does it really matter at this point. Even if they do win game 4.

April 30, 2008  07:47 AM ET

Yeaa really, this series is over ....

April 30, 2008  08:03 AM ET

One game at a time......

April 30, 2008  08:07 AM ET

Is there anything going on in the western conference. C'mon fannation.

April 30, 2008  08:26 AM ET

I know one thing; his teammates probably won't be playing game five.

April 30, 2008  08:31 AM ET

Well....my Rangers are in trouble here...but THAT was a hockey game!! Hopefully we get to see some more.Jagr played his **** off but they just couldn't score.Penguins certainly have the finishers.

April 30, 2008  09:21 AM ET

Agree- stick a fork in the Rangers.

April 30, 2008  09:25 AM ET

And I'll also start the ref whining.....HOW CAN IT BE A PENALTY IF IT WAS EMBELLISHMENT? YOU WANT TO STOP DIVING....MAKE IT A DAMN POWERPLAY NOT A TRADEOFF OF PLAYERS. iS IT DIVING OR AN INFRACTION? CANT BE BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

April 30, 2008  09:25 AM ET

Ty...im done...whew..

April 30, 2008  09:31 AM ET

2 bad Drury is hurt--take the game off! It might not even matter :(

Peter, Jagr was amazing i loved him celebrating the goal in the penalty box! When he went hard to the net through players he looked like the Jagr of young. I really want him back to lead the team for the next two or three years.

Both teams looked tired. Especially the Rangers. When watching Montreal and Philly or any team in the West play it looks like this series has lost a step and is in slow motion.

On another note: Pens finally got called for diving. LOL. Gonchar, you call that a dive? They need to send you to the same diving mini-camps as Crosby. Wait I 4got mentioning the integrity of the game when it's relevant makes me a 'Ranger homer'.

April 30, 2008  09:49 AM ET

what makes you a homer is you only see it 1 way....you seem to have a problem with objectivity...don't worry you're not alone.

series over...

"HOW CAN IT BE A PENALTY IF IT WAS EMBELLISHMENT? YOU WANT TO STOP DIVING....MAKE IT A DAMN POWERPLAY NOT A TRADEOFF OF PLAYERS. iS IT DIVING OR AN INFRACTION? CANT BE BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

it can still be a hook/penalty without the embellishment...there was a penalty but it wasn't enough to take him down (doesn't make it not a penalty)...but yet said player leaps into the air and takes a swan dive (embellishment)..it is still a penalty the embellishment doesn't negate it.

"what makes you a homer is you only see it 1 way....you seem to have a problem with objectivity...don't worry you're not alone. "

Care to elaborate? I never said the Rangers are losing the series because of diving.

Diving = problem. 1 way?

April 30, 2008  10:14 AM ET

Yeah, Drury looked pretty messed up. Jagr played a great game but it almost seemed that his team didn't want to embrace him after his goal. The Pens have finally proved something. After watching Lundqvist, I think Marty Brodeur might have had a point. This guy is afraid to come to the top of the goal crease. He looks like a Tuna stuck in his net like that. He keeps it up and PopKing will be wrapping him up in a Sun Newspaper.
3-0 Too much to overcome against the young gun Pens.

If Drury is a man, he will play through this injury...Everyone likes to bash Sidney for being a ****, but he played last year's playoffs with a broken foot!

April 30, 2008  10:20 AM ET

What difference does it make? No big loss there as none of the underachieving, overpaid Rangers millioners appear very interested or very motivated in winning anything at this point.
Shanahan, Jagr, Gomez, Straka, Lundqvist and, yes, Drury. They all look like they'd rather be golfing than winning another hockey game.
They will soon get their wish as the fat lady is already done warming up and is about to sing.

April 30, 2008  10:22 AM ET

This was a terrible game for Lundqvist. He let in some soft goals but hasn't had much help in front of his own net. Drury and Shanny are a big part of the PK and even-strength defense.

LOL Dmitch. Can I officially wriet you off as a 'homer' since it is cool to call people that now?

What has Drury won that Sidney hasn't? A little respect, please.

April 30, 2008  10:39 AM ET

No I called him a P-U-S-S-Y if he doesn't play!
