Regarding Cuban, it wouldn't hurt to have a colorful owner in Chicago. It appears that Hank in the Bronx is going to fill that bill quite nicely in the AL

I can't stand Cuban, but he is all about winning. that is a lot more than you can say about some owners.

Cuan is annoying.....he would totally fit in Chicago. He hasn't had success buying a winner in Dallas, what makes him think he could buy one with the most notorious failure of a franchise in baseball?

Sell the Mavs and buys the Cubs.......

Actually that was a typo..they made it, didn't win it, have no idea what I was thinking. But I did find this interesting

So the "unsuccessful" comment is still bogus.

The way he canned Avery he looks like a Steinbrenner in the making, maybe not so much in the press presure on his players.

He wants to win. You can't knock someone for that. I'd love for him to buy the Mets. At least he'd kick someone tail for the way they're playing.

Avery was not getting the best out of that team though Allstarz. I like the guy but sometimes you need to make a change.

I am not knocking firing Avery, sometimes you need a change is right, though Avery had a good regular season record. He just strikes me as an owner in the same vein as the Steinbrenners, that is a mixed bag.

I don't follow basketball, so don't really know a lot about him or the Mavs. The Cubs are doing well this season again, and seem to be on the right track. If this guy can bring it all together than I'm all for it. If he's an embarrasment, then he can stick to basketball.
