A 29-year-old man arrested for a Las Vegas strip club shooting said suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones ordered the 2007 shooting, which injured three people. Earlier this month, police arrested Arvin Edwards of Renton, Wash., and charged him with three counts of attempted murder for the 2007 shooting at the Minxx Gentlemen's Club in Las Vegas. The shooting followed a melee inside at the club. According to documents uncovered by NewsChannel 5, Edwards extorted money from Jones told police that another man demanded that he pay or something would happened to Jones's mother and young daughter. In telephone interview from a Washington jail, Edwards said Jones framed him.

Good job Cowboys!.............Way to trade for a guy who will be sharing a cell with Michael Vick...........

May 1, 2008  09:42 AM ET

I was waiting all week for the latest Pacman installment from T & R

May 1, 2008  09:44 AM ET

which felon do we believe?

May 1, 2008  09:46 AM ET

Exactly F....which felon, liar, crook, thug, low-life do we believe?

May 1, 2008  09:47 AM ET

Is OJ involved in this somehow>?

May 1, 2008  09:50 AM ET

If true this would defintely impact his reinstatement and make Vick look like a role model the "see it can be worse" sports club.

May 1, 2008  09:55 AM ET

BWWWAHHAAAAAAA
I called it the DAY they arrested the guy... and Jones claimed the extortion.
We all know Jones threw the guy under the bus so he could be reinstated...
HAHAHAHAHAHA..

and we DIDNT see this coming ?

omg, can this get any freaking better?

May 1, 2008  09:55 AM ET

I just do not see how any jury could take the word of Pacman Jones over any upright creature. Maybe in a court of nothing but reptilians. The cowboys were wise to draft a top corner...

May 1, 2008  09:58 AM ET

And also wise to include in the trade deal they get a pick next year if he isn't re-instated.

May 1, 2008  10:03 AM ET

If this guy is telling the truth - there's no guarantee he is - the Cowboys are going to look like "Thug's Team" rather than "America's Team".

Pacman will still be piece of garbage in my eyes - no matter how this turns out!

Edwards said Jones "paid somebody to shoot that club up. Now, if he wants to tell on somebody he needs to tell on himself and tell them what he actually done."

Edwards said Jones knows the shooter well. Edwards said the shooter is part of a crowd Jones hangs out with in Atlanta.

"He knows they name," Edwards said. "He knows they street name. He needs to tell on them instead of trying to put this on me when he knows I didn't do this and he know I never met him before and he know he don't know me and I don't know him."

May 1, 2008  10:12 AM ET

I can't wait to see how this one plays out in court. I would love to watch Pacman's deposistion hearing!

May 1, 2008  10:13 AM ET

It just gets better & better. I would say "shoot me" but that's a bit too ironic.

May 1, 2008  10:13 AM ET

This guy is a never ending list of criminal updates. Nice work Jerry Jones.

May 1, 2008  10:15 AM ET

looks like the Cowboys will be loaded for next year's draft - all those picks they got this weekend + Tennesee's fourth rd pick...

May 1, 2008  10:17 AM ET

"He knows they name," Edwards said. "He knows they street name. He needs to tell on them instead of trying to put this on me when he knows I didn't do this and he know I never met him before and he know he don't know me and I don't know him."

KPKahder -81 days to go

Well spoken, Edwards - almost Shakespearean.

'Let's go live into the Dallas Cowboys War-room!" Ooohhhh....Aaaahhhhhh.....wow...they drafted a RB....then a CB.....wow!!!! Never in histiry has a team had so many fans (that have never picked up a ball themselves in their lives) that are wanna-bes and hangers-on as Dallas. Yeeeee-Hah! Ride that bandwagon! Ride it!

May 1, 2008  10:18 AM ET

this is funny how he envisions himself as some criminal mastermind..and this dufus "takes orders" from him...ok pacman, I'll shoot anyone, just let me be in yo posse...I call shotgun in the exalade...bunch of lowlives....NFL should not grant him the favor of allowing him to play...make him get a real job and see where on the hierarchy he really stands. he's not even up to walmart standards.

We're so glad to see him get out of our city. Go Pacman, GO!!! As fast as you can! GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
