This is stupid. LA doesn't even have a team, do you think anyone there is going to care about the draft? The only fans that really go and stay at the draft are the New Yorkers. Let them keep it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I watched it live for the first time and have to agree it's much more entertaining than any award show.

Being from NY, I enjoyed watching those mooks make -holes of themselves. Did they serve alcohol there, or was there tailgating allowed out on 5th avenue?

IF YOU HAVE to take the draft out of NY Radio City, then at least move it to a town or city that HAS an NFL team.

LA wants to host the draft because it is a nice annual boom to the local economy.

Lets reward cities in rural America and/or in any town that has invested in a stadium and the infrastructure to support that stadium.

And KPKahder....Buffalo plays in Ralph Wilson Stadium. Its in Orchard Park.

And though the Jets and Giants play in NJ, New York itself, invests in the infrastructure and tax base that goes into and comes out of Giants Stadium.

All teams having a shot at hosting the draft... sorta like how the other leagues allow their teams to host the All-Star Game? Interesting idea.

As far as L.A. goes, I think they should get a shot to host the draft. Why not? After all, the Pro Bowl is played in Hawaii every year, and Honolulu doesn't have a team.

To add to the excitement the city that hosts the draft should be the city with a team that will always have a high first round pick. Let's permanently move it to Detroit.

I must say, I always look forward to the masses of Jets fans screaming in horror, "Noooooooooooo" after the first round pick. It is the highest of comedy. Even though they got the pick right this year, I'm confident they will go back to their ways soon. Leave the draft in NY for Gods sake.
