D'Antoni on Bulls radar if...
Mike D'Antoni's lengthy Friday meeting with Suns management about his Phoenix future brought little resolution, which is fitting for a Bulls coaching search that is in the same state. Yes, the Bulls would interview D'Antoni should the former NBA coach of the year and Suns general manager Steve Kerr not resolve acknowledged philosophical differences and part company. Any story intimating D'Antoni would land the Bulls' job for sure if he leaves the Suns is premature at best and false at worst.

The Bulls need something. Things just aren't right in Chicago. The Bulls messed up their future when they let Tyson Chandler go to sign Ben Wallace.

The Bulls messed up by counting on Deng and Gordon to become stars, not by letting Chandler go. By all accounts, they had a realistic chance at getting Pau Gasol, and they should have done it. D'Antoni would be a nice hire for this team, but I want them to get Avery Johnson.

I think Avery Johnson would be the best [available] coach for the Bulls!

How bout Chicago hire Dantoni then trade Gooden, Deng, Gordon, and Duhon to Miami for Marion and Haslem
Chicago new line-up Hinrich, Hughes, Marion, Haslem, Noah with Thebo, Nocioni, Grey, and Tyrus off the bench

Hinrich needs to be a sixth man and Hughes just needs to get the hell up off the Bulls...he's garbage.
Why trade for Marion, he wants the max contract and you have a player who has the potential to be as good if not better than Marion in Tyrus Thomas. and Gooden and Haslem are pretty much the same player. So what do the Bulls gain out of that trade?
Personally the Bulls should get Avery or Thibodeau. They need to learn to play D again and run more on offense.

I've never been one to leave comments on this site. and i have NEVER insulted people i dont even know but theres a first time for everything...
Bigbooth and mr thrills are idiots. plain and simple. bigbooth, that trade of yours is a TERRIBLE move. Every bulls fan knows how conservative john paxson is. He makes trades that he KNOWS will help his team, and that trade changes a whole lotta nothin!
Mr Thrills...tyrus thomas is gonna be marion?!?! Youre out of your mind. And gooden and haslem are different in ONE major aspect. Gooden can do some damage on offense. Haslem? not so much. But, I absolutely agree with the Avery Johnson statement altho i think rick carlisle would be a perfect fit, i always loved how he made teams win no matter who was injured or who they played. But that'll probably never happen!

D'Antoni would fit in well with the Bulls. The Bulls have some talent base, and D'Antoni can hit the ground running with that and help them go further.
D'Antoni brings a new dimension because of his European background, and it so happens that the Bulls have some foreign influence as well, with players having names like Hinrich and Nocioni. Is Nocioni Italian? If so, then it matches well with D'Antoni, who is Italian.
Furthermore, Italians and Germans (eg Hinrich) do not have any problem with each other - they get along fine. After all, both countries develop high-performance cars. And both countries like to eat sausage - which is also something common to Chicago as well.
That being said, I do hope that D'Antoni stays in Phoenix where he belongs. Hopefully, he is willing to listen to Kerr and not insist on bolting. After all, Phoenix has its own foreign contingent with players from France and Canada.

Why do people still bring up Duhon's name in a trade anyway? His a UFA, not a RFA. He knows his days in Chicago are done and will NOT re-sign with that guard back log the bulls currently have.

Carlisle is another Skiles type personality, he has the reputation for being real pugnacious. Also he is all for a slow half court offense which doesn't fit the Bulls personnel at all.
Tyrus has the potential to be like Marion, hell his jumper already has better form than Marion's ugly ass push shot from the hip. They have the same skillset...combo SF/PF....both very fast and athletic and good shot blockers. If Tyrus had a good coach who could guide him and a great PG like Marion had with Nash, he could easily be as good in 2 seasons. He has already shown All-Star potential this season, he is just young and inconsistent...it's his 2nd season. Honestly, he could easily be better than Marion, who I think is very good but overrated in general.
Secondly, Gooden's and Haslem's stats are almost identical, both players will give you around 12-14 pts and 9 rebs....yeh Gooden will once in a while have a 20+ point game but honestly both players are the same to me. So get serious, jack...who's the idiot here?

Mr.Thrills - are you on crack ??
Marion is one of the best all-around players in the league. He doesn't score as much as Kobe Bryant or Lebron James, but he has all the skills on both ends of the floor. His jumper is not ugly at all. He has developed a unique, quick-release shot that no one else can reproduce. It is the most efficient style of shooting since Reggie Miller's.
