A passel of Yankee players, coaches and execs - including Jason Giambi - will be dragged into the fray if Roger Clemens forges ahead with his defamation case against former trainer Brian McNamee, McNamee's lawyer told the Daily News Friday night. Clemens' wife, Debbie, and their four sons also would be deposed by McNamee's legal team, attorney Richard Emery said, along with players listed in the Mitchell Report, including ex-Yank Gary Sheffield, about steroids in baseball. As Clemens' friends continued Friday to encourage him to drop the suit, the pitcher's flamboyant lawyer, Rusty Hardin, told The Associated Press he would talk to his client about whether they should go forward, the first hint of reversal from Hardin.

The whole Yankee staff should be banned from baseball for life.

An asterisk should be put by their **** from the 90's.

Roger better have his boots on, cause he's gonna be going through a lot of mud. Sex with a 15-year-old is much harder for people to forgive than steroids. What else is to come?

Mike Golic shared an interesting thought yesterday morning on The Mike&Mike Show and I think we should consider this. What if this whole time, Clemens (in baseball and in Texas society) who always called the shots, always told those around him what to do, and never accepted instruction and/or advice from anyone is actually doing the same with Rusty Hardin? And Hardin is just following along because that's what people always do in dealing with Clemens? I'm not ready to fully accept this idea myself, but it is worth thinking about.
Meaning, Hardin is not the worst lawyer in America (hard to imagine, I know), he just yet another person in Texas who has let Clemens call all the shots...

Thats why New York City is considered, universally, to be the greatest city in the world.

You must live in Canada. Or Ohio.

All the money in the world can't buy you class Rog.

Your parents, wife, kids.....all must be so proud.

Only in New Yourk is it okay to pee on the sidewalk........and use steroids.

Both Clemens and the Yankees are a disgrace to baseball.

Everyone knows that A-Rod and Jeter are on the juice also.

Why the hate? Yankeesteroiduser

Good question, answer it you are a massive bitter Hypocrite. Dont look now but your jealousy is showing, If you want to put an asterisk by the Yanks thats fine but you better add 29 other asterisks for all the teams had steroid users. Thinking is good for you.

Keith
I mentioned this yesterday in a blog.
The fact is, that the attorney doesnt make decisions, they follow the clients orders. Roger decided on a defamation suit. Rusty filed it.
All Rusty can do is advise. Make suggestions.
Noone can convince me that he hasnt been "advising" Roger to drop this and the egomaniacal Roger is the one keeping it going.

Clemens should admit what he did and save any dignity he has left...

Roger The Dodger Clemens is doing a good job of making himself look like a bigger dou-che every single day. His ego is so big that he must believe he's too important to be in the HOF because he's surely not going be voted in if he continues to deny the obvious that he's a lying POS CHEATER!

You'd have to put an asterisk next to every team that's won one. The whole league is corrupt.

Clemens is in a no win situation, like he pitched 5 innings gave up some runs and everyone is trying to get him off the mound.
