Agent: Harrison not a suspect

Posted: Sunday May 04, 2008 08:44AM ET

Marvin Harrison is not the target of an investigation into a shooting in Philadelphia earlier this week, according to the agent of the Colts wide receiver. Refuting Internet reports that cited unnamed sources, Tom Condon, Harrison's agent, said: "I've spoken with Marvin and I've spoken with his attorney, and they say the reports are erroneous. Marvin was not involved in any shooting, and he is not the subject of this investigation."

It's Not!

Well, if his agent and his attorney say he had nothing to do with it, then there is nothing more to talk about. Case closed.

I agree. From what I have seen of Harrison on the football field, there is absolutely no way that he could be involved in something like this. I don't even believe that he owns a detail shop or bar in North Philadelphia. I believe the media made up the whole story that he is even from Philadelphia.

If the gun used was his, he still has some explaining to do.

If you go by the attitude of ESPN, you'd think Harrison was the shooter yet to be arrested. They're treating this like Breaking News on CNN, with the Sal Palantonio updates.

Report Offensive Comment

He's gonna go be Michael Vicks' wide out on the prison football league.

Hey look everyone, Beer-n-drums is trying to be funny. Nice one, seriously. You Try way too hard.

EastCoastKeith, I totally agree with you. It is the off-season and they need some news so they take it out on Marvin.

Marvin's as clean as a whistle.

maybe because he is the suspect.... well I guess this episode won't qualify for the 48 hours rule!!!!

Does anyone know where PacMan was during the incident ???

Report Offensive Comment

I'll wait until the POLICE say he's not a suspect..

Report Offensive Comment

Yea, belive his agent! Wait until Monday, things may change quickly

It's simple to resolve. Head to Harrison's house. if the gun he claims has never left the house is there, case closed. Since they found 1in a bucket, it'll be easy to prove if he was upfront.

I'm amazed though. He's always kept himself clean. To see him implicated in this in anyway is just.. unexpected at best.

Harrison is innocent he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

If I remember correctly, the police did say he was not a suspect Friday when they did the press conference.

His agent didn't just say he wasn't a suspect. He said he wasn't a subject of the investigation, meaning he isn't being considered as a suspect. I agree with sundevilkid

From his history I doubt he's guilty. He's always been humble, he's kind, a family man, and doesn't try to become a superstar, although he is one.

It is Marvin Harrison. He doesn't do stupid things. I seriously doubt the merit of this investigation and his involvement.
