On Friday, Andre Miller, the point guard, said he didn't know if he would like to stay with the team after his contract runs out next season. He will be paid nearly $10 million for the 2008-09 season. Miller is 32 and doesn't have the game that will decline swiftly because it's based on intelligence more than sheer athletic ability. The most important thing is whether Miller wants to stay. After speaking Friday, he gave the impression he wants to see the improvements before making a commitment.

He would have been a better fit in Dallas than Jason Kidd. Miller could help many teams, including Cleveland, Boston and the young Portland team. He'll have lots of options.

Miller---the man who goes from team to team. When his career is over no one will know exactly who he played for.

I would love to see Dre back in Cleveland. Imagine him running the break with LeBron. Watch out.

Andre Miller has no one to blame but himself. He was loved in Cleveland since the day they drafted him and he let his ego take over. He turned down a huge contract to leave the Cavaliers to go to the LA Clippers........now look at him.....he's nothing more than a Journeyman now. He doesn't deserve to return to the Cavs.

It all depends what Andre Miller wants. If he simply wants to be on a winning team and get playing time and a paycheck, then he can stay in Philly - if they also make other upgrades.
If he absolutely wants a championship, then he would have to settle for a backup point guard position in San Antonio or Phoenix.
If he wants money, then he should go to whichever team makes the highest bid to pay him after 2009. That may be any team in the league with Salary Cap room.
Three different priorities, and three different options.
