Steelers jinxed by Mendenhall injury?

The minicamp jinx struck another first-round draft choice of the Steelers. As with linebacker Lawrence Timmons last year, halfback Rashard Mendenhall came down with an injury after his first day of minicamp and did not practice yesterday. Mendenhall has a hamstring injury, and coach Mike Tomlin believes the top rookies do have a problem with injuries in minicamps.

Two injuries in two years qualifies as a jinx? Is there a desperate for a story jinx? Yes? This one is slam dunk material.

So does that mean the lower draftees and FA's don't have injury problems at minicamps??

Wow...I'm not here to defend HotMom, but that was a horrible attempt at a comeback. So madhatter, how's that GED coming along?

Rashard Mendenhall is smart.....getting injured and sitting on the sideline is better than getting the snot kicked out of him on Week 1.

Wouldn't it be "twee woot"?

I still say the steelers are going to have loads of trouble this year because they failed to help their OL. Every analysts raves about drafting 2 specialty positions, but their line was bad last year and that was with Faneca. Their line will be horrible this year.
