An associate said Jason Taylor, recently snubbed by the new Dolphins regime, is expected to speak with owner Wayne Huizenga about resolving his future, though it is difficult to envision Huizenga instructing Bill Parcells to trade Taylor. WQAM's Joe Rose, who is friendly with Taylor, said although Taylor prefers to play, there is a chance he might retire.

He is being snubbed. That's what Parcells wants Taylor to feel. He's telling you to get your arse in the weight room and be a leader, not dancing with some bimbo on national TV.

Then he needs to get in line behind every other player Parcells has come into contact with in this league.

This prima donna went off to do the rumba, chachacha, and mambo with a bunch of bimbos (did he really need to leave Miami to dance to Cuban music?). What does he expect?

How's this for a scenario: Taylor 'retires' then goes to New England, comes out of retirement and contributes to New England's victories over the Dolphins. Works for me.

I don't know about you guys but... I will take the bimbo!!! I mean that bimbo is not just any bimbo.... ask the other guys that been ih the show... there is something about professional dancers.... pacman don't get excited I am not talking about your type of "dancers". Dancing is hard work and givss you a lot of flexibility that at his age is what he really need to stay at the top... Is early enough for him to catch up... He is a DE unless is a zone blitz and he is dropping on coverage all he do is v-line to the qb so there is not much playing terminology that he need to learn or practice... I guess if he is a no show for more money or a trade me to jacksonville or else it will be okay... (stray-ham, ocho stinko comes to mind). He should keep his mouth shut.... take it like a man and showed up in July.... worked for stray-ham and the Giants did it???
Oh and enjoy the bimbo (my type of bimbo)

I have never been a Fins fan but JT brings it every Sunday. Parcells shouldn't be so concerned about JT but about the overall lack of talent he has on his team. This could seperate those guys that know and respect JT form the Parcells empire. Be careful Parcells, your OLD tricks could back fire.

Your JT not LT!

May 4, 2008  12:06 PM ET

taylor brings his best to the field every game that he plays. it would be a stupid decision to let go of him.

May 4, 2008  12:06 PM ET

"I'm Jason Taylor you old fat has been" - TRADE ME !!! Oh yeah one question - when was the last time you showed LOYALTY to one team for as long as I have ???

May 4, 2008  12:27 PM ET

As the cat in the comic strip, "Mutts", would say--'shnub'.

May 4, 2008  12:32 PM ET

Yea I agree with the comment "Parcells isa pain to work under"

Parcells will come around when Taylor has double diget sacks this year

May 4, 2008  01:21 PM ET

Maybee Parcells can win Taylor over by going on "Dancing with the Stars"?

:-)

May 4, 2008  01:26 PM ET

Taylor has already left more of a legacy in miami than parcells ever will.
Parcells old antiquated style of motivation doesn't work anymore it just creates hard feelings and divides players and coaches.
It's hard for a man with breasts to be intimidating, so he's turned to ignoreing people.

Here's a clue "Tuna"... "Everyone can't tell the same story about you unless there's some truth to it". All this "Frank Sinatra - I Did It My Way" crap is for the birds. Look at Bob Knight and his plight to "connect" with todays players. It's not happening. Tom Coughlin put the "Old dog - New tricks" mantra to rest. Perhaps Parcells could read a chapter in that book before thinking about alienating the most consistent and professional player he has on his roster. He might also want to consider that the N.F.L. asked Jason Taylor to do the show as a way of selling the N.F.L. to a larger audience.

May 4, 2008  01:57 PM ET

" His feelings are hurt because Parcells does not fawn over him.".....So, " I need to talk to the owner."...It seems the biggest problem with last years team was a lack of leaders among the players. Starting with this guy...Just play, or retire....What a baby..

May 4, 2008  02:15 PM ET

I won't believe anything about this so called feud until I get a quote directly from the man himself."An associate said" and "sources say" just don't cut it for me.While I don't imagine Parcells is exactly thrilled that JT is on DWTS,he did know about it before he was hired.
With everything we know about Parcells,I think if he was that upset with Taylor he would have traded him already.

May 4, 2008  02:27 PM ET

Retirement for Jason Taylor? That is just a ploy to get more attention.

plrrrrrrrrrrrr.........

May 4, 2008  02:58 PM ET

Maybe hes lonely and needs so damn attention. wuss.
