Do they realy want to trade this guy, or what? Its obvious they want him out of town, which takes away from what they can get back, its just the way it works. Except the fins are so stupid they'v made it obvious how badly they WANT him, making KC think they can get better value for him. The fact of the matter is, Trent Green is only as valuable as his offensive line, and the fins' line ain't the best...

I agree, you would think this guy was Montana during his best years! Make the deal already, neither team is going to make it to the Super Bowl because of the freaking trade so make it and move on.

This story has dragged on for to long. The funny thing is that both of these teams suck with or without Green.

I like Trent Green and how he came back from injury in STL, but this has gotten waaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of hand. Enough already with this. They're talking about a 4th and 6th round pick being the difference. What a load.

Like I have said before. If K.C does not want him and NO OTHER TEAM
inquired about him.. WHAT IS HIS TRUE VALUE.? We can afford to let them cut/release him. Why give up something for nothing.. That is like
buying a used car knowing it ain;t worth crap.

Yeah, this is getting more irritating to listen to than the yearly Brett Favre will he or won't he retire discussion. Regardless of what he can or can't still do, get the trade done with already.

Go with Culpepper, Green's not healthy either. If Culpepper is healed he gives Miami their best chance. Let KC sit and spin. KC doesn't have a solution at QB either. I don't know what they are thinking.

May 30, 2007  08:02 PM ET

Green should just retire! Only reason he shouldnt is if he gets behind a first class line. Only then will he be able to throw like he use to and Miami does not have that great of a line so he should just mail it in. He also has to worry about learning a new offense, well when he tried that in KC his first year he throw like 18ints...Not good, just give it up man!

i doubt green is still done, he could be a transitional QB for miami until the rookie QB is ready. why can't they agree ona 5th round pick

May 30, 2007  10:18 PM ET

Why is compromising on a fifth rounder so hard? I have never seen two "kids in the sandbox" play so rough, well, at least since Nolan Ryan beat Robin Ventura's "behind" a few years back......
