Pierce: Strahan played last game
As far as the future of Michael Strahan, at least one member of the Giants believes Strahan will retire. "My inside tells me that Strahan played his last game with the New York Giants as a champion, and that's not a bad way to go out," Antonio Pierce said on WFAN.

No team will ever be "America's team" but I do think the Giants will always have a fond corner in 99% of fans hearts for causing that most unique 18-1 failure of a season.

You can't blame the guy if he chooses to retire. He finally got his super bowl ring. And boy did he earn it in STYLE. I mean it was only the biggest upset in Super Bowl history. Did anyone outside of New York expect the Giants to win that game? He's a monster athlete and can still pass-rush with the best. He's a great leader, as well. But there is no way the Giants will win the Super Bowl again this year, let alone compete in their division. Both Philly and Dallas had solid drafts while NY didn't get up to par. He should ride off into the sunset.

Yip..as an Eagles fan...I usually root against the Giants..but this year..it was a fantastic game that I was glad to be a part of.

That said...Strahan should go ahead and retire and take care of his Divorce legal issues. I hear his ex-wife was at the Superbowl Ring ceremony with a tig welder so she could get her 50%.

It def would be a perfect ending for #92, cant argue with that. However, lately he has been saying he's been having more fun with the game, not letting the pressures and worries affect him on the field. If he has that mentality, and still has a passion to play, which it seems he does, dont count him out for returning

As long as he can afford to pay off that Cee, he should retire. He will be missed though.

Yes and I put up with **** from the Cowboy, Packer, and Pats fans I work with through the whole damn playoffs. He should retire and go out with a spectacular performance. Don't think he'll get the video montage that Favre got but we'll take the ring.
