Completely agree - not a big fan of Benson, but I see the racism every day and it is getting old and tired. What makes a white person better than a black person or a jewish person or anyone else. Then put a badge in that persons hand and all the sudden you get these type of outcomes. Not clearing Ced on this, just saying I wouldn't be surprised either, I have racist cousins who are cops and they talk about black people like they are the scum of the earth.

I know that Chicao hates Benson, but this rings true. I am white and have been to Devil's Cove on Lake Travis for years. Not once have I been stopped for a safety check. Not once. He has been stopped 6 times this year. I'll tell you another thing...there are very few black boaters out there.

Plus an white adult male gets a lot more attention with our 911 system than a hystrical young girl.

They should have tazed him too.
