Harrison could be charged in shooting

Under Pennsylvania law, Marvin Harrison can be charged with a misdemeanor if it's proven his gun was used in a shooting, even if someone else pulled the trigger. If Harrison is found to have been involved in any gun-related crime, it could subject him to discipline, including a suspension, by the NFL under its Guns and Weapons Policy or Personal Conduct Policy.

RP-29

???

He made a piss-poor reference to Grand Theft Auto IV in an attempt to be funny, and it resulted in epic failure, not only because of the lack of registration with your idea of humor, but for his failure to choose the right word for "want."

Great job RP-29, way to look completely inept on the internet. Then again, I'm not really suprised.

MH is the last guy in the NFL that I think would be caught up in a shooting. Crazy.

it's always the quiet ones

Wonder who's gonna be next? Seems like every month brings us another NFL player worthy of being suspended.

May 7, 2008  09:36 AM ET

I think being disciplined by the leagues "Gun and Weapons Policy or Personal Conduct Policy" is the least of his worries right now.

Does being "completely inept on the internet" mean that I am a nerd or I am not a nerd?

DanTheMan

My thoughts exactly.

And aside from Hank Kingsley, the resident of 704 Hauser St is the only other avatar I'd ever consider. Case closed.....

it doesn't mean you are or aren't a nerd, i think it means you are an idiot. when you reference something, it shoud be something popular that most if not all the general public is aware of, not just the losers who play whatever video game you are referring to.

The game sold over 6 Million copies and made over $500 million in one week; mostly to the same demographic that utilizes message boards like this one.

Define popular.

This is just a shame. Why, with all the attention being given to how a players activities off the field will affect their careers....would an NFL star be involved in a shooting?

This defies all logic.

If this guy had a bunch of tattoos and played in the NBA, America would be screaming for his head.

Luckily for him, the NFL operates under a different standard.

May 7, 2008  10:26 AM ET

Hey RP-29....that game kicks ****! I'm one of those 6 Million losers.Oh well!

May 7, 2008  10:26 AM ET

Say it aint so Marvin.

May 7, 2008  10:29 AM ET

Yeah, Beer-n-drums, the message board police are out today. Don't make a video game reference in a sports message board or they will beat you down like Cedric Benson.

he should go to jail for a long time. His gun was used and there is no doubt about that. It was a belgium made custom pistol (which he owns), he is lying about EVERYTHING (he said the gun was at home but it was hidden in a bucket at the car wash). Obviously him or one of his friends shot this dude and dude is now scared to say who. It's Marvin's gun, Marvin's bullets that shot the guy so Marvin should do the time. I'm sick and tired of so called above the law superstars getting their thug ass friends to get their hands dirty and nothing ever happens.....All I hear on NFL shows is how intimidating Ray Lewis is. It's like we all forgot that HE IS A MURDERER!!!!!!!! Yeah, Yeah, I know he got off but we all know he did it or atleast was involved in some capacity.
