Tucker (Ga.) junior running back/linebacker Jonathan Davis already has scholarship offers from Central Florida, Clemson and UAB. "Illinois came in on Monday and they got kind of excited. And Notre Dame saw him in a morning workout last week and they became intrigued by him," Tucker coach Franklin Stephens said. Memphis and Mississippi State have also inquired about the 5-foot-9, 195-pound Davis.

ND already has Theo Riddick, and Cierre Wood. Ther're not going to offer a scholarship.

ND needs to be intrigued by everyone... what an embarassment they have become...

ND has been recruiting very well, I have no idea what JANDSSPORT is posting, but ND needs to be very picking; they don't have that many scholarships to give out this year, they handed out alot last year, hence forth, had the number 2 recruiting class in the country. I think WE are recruiting pretty well. Athletes with talent are coming to South Bend

Got "kinda excited"? Too easy to touch.

I agree with Sexton on this. There are higher profile players ahead of him. If he gets an offer it might be at linebacker and not running back.

Now i'm also intrigued.

Thats funny considering they have been stealing players from USC out west for the last three years...

ND has Cierre Wood and Theo Riddick, not to mention Stephan Taylor is very interested in Notre Dame. No way he gets offered. I haven't heard of him before.

With Aldridge, Hughes and Allen being so young and Jonas Gray coming in this year, and Wood and Riddick next year... I just don't see it happening. But hey, I wouldn't complain. You really can't have too much depth in the stable.
