Cowboys, Saints top Henry's list

Posted: Thursday May 08, 2008 08:26AM ET

Former Bengals receiver Chris Henry on Wednesday became the latest troubled player to seek refuge with the Dallas Cowboys. Henry is awaiting trial for misdemeanor charges of assault and a ruling from the NFL on whether he will be able to play in 2008. On Tuesday, an Ohio judge ruled Henry be released from electronic monitoring and house arrest to travel for tryouts. No visits have been scheduled, but Henry told ESPN.com the Cowboys and New Orleans top his list of teams.

It's Hot!

It's Not!

This just in, cowboys are also looking to add D End Darrion Scott. Jerry Jones was quoted as saying "I've never seen him play or even heard his name, he does seem like a good fit for us"

When did Jerry Jones become Al Davis?

Hmmm, Chris Henry in New Orleans? If he could get into that much trouble in Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky then I can't imagine how many ways he could be stupid in New Orleans. Just arrest him when he lands at the airport and get it over with.

Henry does not get it..He has teams on his list, but there is no team that has him on their list...He is a high risk person, with low end production. Not a good combination..Some tams will take the risk with a high end player ( like Pacman ), but not with guys like this.

THANK YOU 50yearfan!

The Cowboys have an issue at WR but Henry would be a bigger one.

I bet they top this idiots list. I wouldn't want this clown on my Arena league team.

A match made in heaven!

Yeah, Jerry might actually pass on this P.O.S., but you can bet that all the low-lifes that pull for Dallas (when Dallas is winning that is) want Jerry to sign him up. Yeeee Haaaaa! Ride that bandwagon!

I think we need to invade Texas before they finish building their army of super felons.

No cowboys fan, but you got to cut them some slack on this one. Henry could just as easily have said your favorite teams name. Jeesh. When they deserve it, give it to them. But they have nothing to do with this...

Good luck with that. Texas beat you to the punch and invaded the White House in 2000.

saints have already said they dont want him.

Henry, Pac Man, TO..Man that would be an awesome night out.

Why hammer the cowboys? Like they are the only team in the league that has players in trouble. Even the golden children Colts have Harrison in trouble with a shooting. The pats have spygate and Steroids. Lay off my cowboys.

ugh, honest to say... a little embarassed to be a cowboys fan right now.

If you read the article it said the Cowboys have "NOT" shown an interest in him. Thanks T&R for fueling a non-existent fire.

It's becoming too common. Anytime a player gets in trouble and released from their team, they invariably mention Dallas as a preferred new employer. Good luck, Chris - you're going to need it. Have fun with you upcoming suspension, followed by early retirement.

I really don't think Cowboys fans want their team becoming the halfway house of the NFL.

I wouldnt take him...he's not that good to me...he's average....too big of a risk for average...

Looks like they already have... I have no doubt they bring in Henry, I called this a week ago. Henry is that receiver that their looking for and I'm sure they think they'll be able to keep him out of trouble.
