Top recruit heading to UCLA?

Posted: Thursday May 08, 2008 07:45AM ET

UCLA basketball, recently left short-handed by the one-and-done departure of freshman All-America center Kevin Love, may soon get bigger and better. The Dallas Morning News has reported that J'Mison Morgan, a senior center at South Oak Cliff High in Dallas, has asked out of his letter of intent at Louisiana State and is interested in transferring to UCLA. Morgan, one of the nation's top recruits, is listed at 6 feet 11 and 255 pounds. He could arrive just in time to help UCLA fill the void of Love, who announced in April that he would make himself available for the NBA draft.

The cold midwest wins National titles. And, also has women and cars. We did away with stage coaches back in 1999. And, it's spelled..."I'd" No e.

I'm guessing they couldn't call it LSU like most people do. Anyways, Louisiana State University is getting a new coach and maybe he feels it won't be best for him to go there. Gotta do what's best for you..

Wow, bout time this site picked up this news.

Bruin fans have been going crazy over this story for a week now. Word is, Morgan is a LOCK to come to UCLA. He won't be able to sign another Letter of Intent due to NCAA rules but he can get another kind of scholarship and still be ready to go.

What a huge recruiting class for Howland!

Ummmm, as someone who has been in the Midwest recently, in New York, and in California, the women in the Midwest are NOT EVEN CLOSE to the women in LA or NYC. The finest flee east or west apparently...

How is the midwest even a topic of discussion? He's from Dallas, signed with LSU, and wants to go to L.A. now.
