Why Mosley-Judah fight is off

"Sugar" Shane Mosley's scheduled May 31 welterweight fight against former world champion Zab Judah has been canceled, and is in jeopardy of not being rescheduled, Judah's manager said Thursday. The manager, Michael Shinefield, said Judah, 30, suffered a badly cut right arm May 1 when he slipped in a Las Vegas boxing gym's shower and fell through a glass shower door. Doctors have told Judah he'll require a layoff of four weeks to recover after 50 stitches were required to treat the multiple lacerations.

Report Offensive Commentnice way to get out of a fight his mouth got him into. Tried to bet Mosely $100,000 grand that he would knock him out, if I remember right. Then he goes and does something like this. I'm 27 years old, and I couldn't even tell you the last time I fell in the shower, let alone fell hard enough to smash through a glass shower door and cur myself to pieces. Maybe he was balls deep in someone, which is the only acceptable excuse, in my books
