Juventus is set to agree to Palermo's co-ownership offer for Sebastian Giovinco, according to the latest reports in Italy. The inclusion of Antonio Nocerino and Davide Lanzafame is already agreed upon, but Palermo transfer chief Rino Foschi is refusing to close the deal until Sebastian Giovinco is added too in a co-ownership deal.

I don't buy it either. Giovinco is a highly touted Juve's youngster.
He's been having a great season so far on a loan with Empoli...
The co-ownership deal doesn't mean Juve would sell him. It'd be a low-risk move by Juve since they'd still own half of the player's contract.
Then, if Giovinco's that great, he'll always be able to chose between Palermo and Turin. If he were to pick Juve, they'd have to pay half of his contract.
This is what happened last summer with Quagliarella when he had to chose between Sampdoria and Udinese.
The co-ownership deal is a very italian type of contract. it's not the best solution though...

This doesn't happen to me.

I like it for Palermo. Giovinco was born in Torino to Sicilian parents. So Sicily is home to him. Forza RosaNero!!!
