Sources: Bulls don't want D'Antoni

If the reports out of New York are accurate, the Knicks are ready to offer Mike D'Antoni a five-year contract worth $30 million or more to become their next coach. But one of those reports was wrong when it had the Bulls preparing to make an offer to D'Antoni by Sunday. Sources said the Bulls have no plans to extend a contract to D'Antoni by this weekend.

I have started writing letters to Don Nelson. The Bulls need Don. Then again, they can always ask Bill Cartwright to come back. Ha!

Report Offensive CommentWhy not Jeff Van Gundy? He's the last coach who had success with the team and understands NY mentality.
And those lasy players will learn what a real hard training session and playing like it should is.

Report Offensive CommentVan Gundy has expressed NO interest in coming back to coaching..he seems to like the booth better...and plus i would rather take avery johnson than van gundy to tell you the honest to god truth...
and you know we want d'antoni its just a matter of how much they're willing to spend and if they end up with anybody but D'antoni then ill be very very very very very very very very disappointed

Report Offensive CommentPoint: Bulls don't want D'antoni.
Counterpoint: Yes they do
Who are they going to hire then. Pretty sure they wanted them until they heard reports of this supposed contract from the Knicks.
