Georgia's football commitment list grew to 11 Saturday. Mike Gilliard, a linebacker from Valdosta, said he has decided to play at Georgia. The 6-3, 205-pound linebacker is the third linebacker commitment for the class. According to Scout.com, Gilliard is a three-star prospect. Rivals.com considers Gilliard a four-star prospect. EXCELLENT CHOICE in the SEC and a good choice regrdless of conference

Wow. Georgia should be pretty hard to beat for a while. A very good team that seems to be getting better by the day.

Report Offensive Comment

GA is going to be one of those teams no one wants to face...no matter what conference...they seem like they are going to be a scary team going into september...

Report Offensive Comment

Georgia will always be good; however, they always seem to come up a tad short. And this is probably due to the fact that they are cursed to have to compete in the impossibly competitive SEC.

Report Offensive Comment

I have always liked Georgia as a team, their coach, and they always seem to be a consistent team especially on D. I cant wait for ncaa 2009 to come out so i can begin a legacy with them!

Report Offensive Comment

Makes sense. He is from Georgia and Richt is a solid recruiter.

The guys that write "some" of these stories probably could not get admitted to Georgia Tech; don't let it bother you.

This is a good commitment for Georgia. The dawgs need all the help they can get with the great balance that the SEC has. Florida has been recruiting very well and the gamecocks continue show signs of vast potential. Any team, including UGA, that wants to compete for an SEC championship must be a strong competitor in the recruiting race, and that starts with nabbing the in-state talent.

Report Offensive Comment

i think georgia'll be good but they wont win it all

Report Offensive Comment

UGA and AU in SEC championship. AU pulls of UPSET. AS much as i hate it. ROLL TIDE

Report Offensive Comment

interesting, but who wins the south's oldest rivalry in the regular season?

Report Offensive Comment

Smart kid. UGA is going to be solid this year, just as they have been the last few. They seem to step it up when they need to, but need to step up when the team isn't as tough. GO DAWGS!!!

Report Offensive Comment

LSU and UGA are gonna fight for the number one spot in recruiting this season

Report Offensive Comment

in response to who will win the souths oldest rivalry, in the regular season. i think that georgia will win that game.

G8R Freak, what you will do is lose to UGA this year
