They won't sign him because he's got no criminal record yet. Wait a year... he'll be unemployed and will pull a few holdups to make ends meet. The Bengals will be kicking his door in.

Comes down to picking DeDe Dorsey or Alexander. Appears the Bengals are willing to stand pat with DeDe at this point. Would have been nice to see Shaun come home. He still could if Perry gets hurt before anyone signs Alexander, which is statistically possible. Since theres limited interest in Shaun at this point and Perry goes down more frequently than a drunken Lohan.

Because the Bengals are not capable of making good decisions. Alexander will probably put up big numbers with another team now.

yeah like the eagles are capable of solid decisions. how many star WR's you all have? well at least you have more stud CB's than you can start.

when it comes to running the ball, Cincy can and does. And consistently produces pro-bowlers. we don't buy other team's star rbs, jim anderson makes stars. the eagles can't say that, and havent been able to say that for 3 decades.

I have to agree w/ 50yearfan. The only real benefit I could see Alexander bringing to a team is in more of a mentor ship role.

Alexander cannot do much at this point. We need a quick-hitter, someone who can recognize a hole and get into the secondary quickly. Rudi doesn't do that, but he's a 20-25 carry back. A healthy Perry/Irons could fill that role as the spell/3rd down back.

Shawn could return punts and run first down plays. He could be a great back up with a contender. You might be surprised what rest, confidence and less pressure will do to a player. He can produce; just not at a level a feature back can.

It's amazing that he was MVP three years ago and now can't find a place to play. Not a viable starter anymore, but he would be a good change of pace back.

Making it into the playoffs 8 out of the last 10 years, going to 4 NFC Championships and a SB would indicate good decision making. How many playoffs have the bengals been in in the last 10 years with your stud WO's? I seem to remember only 1.

As for rb's I guess you forgot about Westbrook. I'd say are running game is not to shabby.
