Inter preparing monster Eto'o bid
Internazionale is reportedly preparing to upset Tottenham's designs on Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o by way of a monster bid. It is understood Barca were interested in offloading the Cameroonian only if they could get Spurs striker Dimitar Berbatov in a part player-exchange.

Where will Zlatan go?
Imagine having Eto'o and Suazo on the counter-attack, yikes!

Looks like the Spurs need to sweeten the deal. Both Inter and Spurs need him. It is nice to be a seller in this market. Barca could make close to 100M in transfer fees from Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Deco and Toure alone...that's a tidy sum to make just by cleaning out the locker room.
I hear they are not that focused on transfer fees though and are more interested in player-for-player swaps. Maybe Ibrahimovich comes to Barca?? With him you get a younger, faster, stronger version of Van Nistlerooy. Zlatan would score 25 easily.

This would be pretty huge. Suazo and Eto'o would be a nearly impossibly counter-attack. I worry about Eto's character issues, though. Perhaps being on the same team as a saint like Javier Zanetti will inspire him to be more of a team player. I wonder where Ibra would go? He is way too talented to play second fiddle to Eto'o. He's a career starter and should go somewhere where he will get a ton of playing time.
Last time I checked, AC Milan didn't have the strongest corps of strikers. Pippo and Ronaldo are elderly. But Pato is amazing. Imagine Ibra and Pato up front with Kaka feeding them through-balls all day. FORZA MILAN!!!!

Heard this is goin for at least 32 million pounds. That's $62.7 million alone. It could be higher. Tottenham are gunna have a hard time matching that, even with some big sponsors

Yeah if its straight up money, i dont know if Spurs can match the money required to land him. As stated above, it does look like the only way Eto'o comes to The Lane is if Berbatov is leaving the other way, which I'm fine with. In a perfect world I'd prefer to see Berbatov stay and Spurs go out and get Villa, but theres zero chance of that happening i'm sure.

Smart for Milan. His upside is worth the money. I always thought Eto'o got it a little rough in Barcelona, considering how the whole squad is dysfunctional. Let's see what he can't do in Italy. Sorry Tottenham.

Great idea. Makes sense on both sides.

Eto'o to Inter? Why???
Who will they let go? They have Zlatan, Suazo, Cruz, Crespo...and Inter have taken over Crespo's wages from Chelsea so he'll no longer be 'on loan.'

Crespo has to be on his way out and Cruz is not starting material by any means I would like to see Zlatan goto Barca and replace Eto in the middle with Messi and Bojan on the wings, my only problem is I dont like Inestia playing the wing I prefer him in the midfield alongside Xavi

If Inter choke this weekend you will see all them go...starting with Matrix Materazzi. Could we see another colossal collapse like 2002?? It wouldn't surprise me.

Arsenal4ever is dead on. Still not sure about Bojan on the wing though. Why cant Barca play with a two-top? Guess we'll see how Guardiola wants it.
And yes Iniesta needs to be back in the midfield with Xavi with Toure as holding mid.

i wouldnt put all my eggs in one basket for a player for player trade. there is so much young striker talent in la liga. i dont beleve bojan will start next season if henry stays which i believe he will. next year look for the front line to be like messi, henry, guiza/david villa/fabiano/oliviera/luis garcia, or maybe another international. i could toally be wrong here.
i can't believe no one has commented on the zaragoza situation. there is a rumor going around the city that there is a clause in most elite players contracts that if their team drops from the primera, they can opt out of their contract, or have to be loaned. this may not be the case for xaragossa, but man would it be interesting to see a mass exodus from that team. i'm not really sure they have any real "elite" players though. i can't believe that the aragones went from what, 5th in la liga to 17th, insane. it would be nice for barca to pick up an oliviera, milito or a midy in pablo aimar.

i still dont understand why argubly the worlds best striker would want to go to tottenham, who will not be playing in the champions legaue and will only hope to get a uefa cup spot next season.
dream on, inter will be the one to snag him.
spurs will not compete for the EPL title any time soon, and with man utd, chelsa, arsenal, liverpool, everton, and even man city there, a CL place looks to be hard,
either spurs are hoping for a miracle or this is hot air

true dat jeevs....the big 4 is how it is going to be for a long time...it is almost impossible to jump a united, arsenal, chelsea, or liverpool...for the most part, the money is not there for the tottenham's, everton's, aston villas, etc....as much as i would love to see villa or everton push liverpool out, i just don't see it happening.
speaking of materazzi...what a fool

Spurs signing Eto'o? HAHAHAHA never gonna happen. Eto'o would sign for a BIG club playing for BIG trophies not perennial underachievers that like to call themselves a big club
