Manhoef hid pre-fight surgery

Keeping it a secret from Dream officials, Melvin Manhoef fought on the recent DREAM.3 card on Sunday night in Japan, only a couple of weeks removed from surgery. Following his hospitalization in the Netherlands, Manhoef effectively had no time to prepare for Dae Won Kim, but was able to finish him by TKO midway through the first round.

Impressive to come back so soon from surgery but would have been better to know what type of procedure it was. Not all familiar w/ Kim so this victory might be tainted as a victory over a can....

What type of surgery can be kept hidden for a couple of weeks? Circumcision?
