There was another death last night as the Flyers lost all hopes of beating the Penguins. The best part of the game last night was at the end when they showed the bitter disapointment of the Flyers fans wearing their "Why not us" shirts. Why not you? Because your scrub team can't beat "Cindy" and the Penguins.

Nothing delusional about us. I think most of us releize that the series\season is over for the flyers. I would love to get at least 1 win out of this series though.

Anyone hear/see Cindy go cry to the refs about Smith roughing him up by the net? It was hysterical to hear Cindy say to Smith, "you punched me in the face!" What a baby. He's a great player and is on the verge of going to his first Cup and he's crying to the ref about getting a glove in the face?

You bring the paper towels, we'll bring shovels and bags to scrape up and pack up the Flyers hearts. They'll have to be small bags and shovels though for all the heart they've shown in this series.

I love how cocky the Pens "fans" are now. They finally have a team that makes the playoffs and they're all acting like diehard hockey fans. Funny stuff

Another mindless comback. My first playoff game was the year Pens won their first cup and I've had partial season tickets for 12 years, but I guess you're right, we all just jump on the bandwagon.

We beat a 3 seed, with the best player in the league on it's team. Then we beat the 1 seed, in 5 games. Last year we were last place. This year we are in the Conf finals. Of course we were cocky. Who wouldn't be?

you guys did accomplish some pretty amazing feats. that was more of a shot at davedbagp feeling he needs to show his dominance by stating "i'm such a big hockey fan bla bla bla pens fans are band wagon fans!"
CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, THE PENS HAVE A LOT OF REAL FANS.
fans that have lived and, in the last decade, mostly died with their team. ya there's alot of band wagon fans now, mostly chicks that find sid hot or whatever but don't know squat about hockey.

davep, Pens fans are not cocky, we just did not need to speak up before. What did you want us to say.?? We knew how good our team was, but knew it would take a few years. You can say what you like, but the Pens fans are the best in the league. Just look at the ratings. They have always been there.
