Cowboys likely to miss OTAs

Restricted free agent Marion Barber and franchised safety Ken Hamlin are working out away from the team as contract negotiations continue. It's unlikely either will be present for the start of organized team activities (OTAs) next week, but Jones remains confident deals will get done before training camp.

I really think sometimes there are far too many off-season events...let these guys take some time off, and when training camp starts, it STARTS. As in you come to work every day, whether it's in the weight room, practice field, film room, or whatever. All it does is give the media more opportunitiy to say "OMGZ MARION BARBER MISSED TEH OPTIONAL WORKOUTZ!!1"
