Inter boss Roberto Mancini has been offered the chance to take over at Chelsea next season, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport. If he wins Serie A tomorrow afternoon, he can choose to stay and lead Inter into the 2008/09 season. If Roma pip the Nerazzurri to the Scudetto, Mancini will then be sacked or forced to resign.

ehhhhWhhaaaaaaaaaaattttt? I'd really rather not do a coaching swap with Inter, seeing as that is the likely place for Jose

I don't believe this. I don't like Mancini, Chelsea can do much better. They will take Rijkaard

I hate Inter, so who cares!!!

Chelsea is #2 in the best soccer league in the world and made it to the Champions League final for the first time, and Grant still isn't good enough? It's ridiculous!

i'm sorry, i mean I had a mullet and all, and still like him, but this picture has been driving me nuts every time they show it!

You think so? I am not so sure about that. I feel that if Avram wins the Champions League, he'll stay. If not, Grant will be shown the door and replaced with the current assistant Henk ten Cate. Besides, mancini's record in European matches is quite poor, and we all know what Roman feels about Europe...

Agreed with the comment above but I dont think ten Cate is what Roman wants. He'll want a more prestigious coach (even though i think ten Cate is prolly what got them to 2nd in the EPL and in the CL's finale, not Grant...)
Since Inter won the scudetto, hes staying.

Turmoil at Chelski FC? never...... Its been announced in the British press today that Avram Grant will most likely leave Chelsea at the end of the season, even if they win the Champions League. He is no longer Abramovich's flavour of the month. It will be between Rijkaard or Mancini for the job. The Chelsea job is becoming a bit of a joke though, just like Real Madrid where there is no job security anymore. Just proves you cant buy success!
