One guy is involved in a serious legal matter that NONE of us know the truth about yet and the other guy thinks playing a game gives him the right to throw a fit over millions and millions and millions of dollars he already enjoys and wants more of. Yet, if past history of fannation comments is any indicator, Benson will be the one who gets grilled here today and Urlacher - once again - will be let off the hook.

EastCoastKeith........................don't read too much into the pics they use for these stories. Truth&Rumors and any media organization always go with the worst picture...or best picture possible depending on a number of factors.

By going with the worst pic, more people are likely to stop and read the blurb about Benson while scanning through these things.

I do agree with you Hortag. But I do think one of those factors here regarding Benson is the belief he is guilty. This T&R is about Benson as well as Urlacher. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not recall fannation ever using a disparaging photo of Urlacher who's certainly no boy scout either.

Why do people make such a big deal out of someone choosing to not be at a VOLUNTARY workout? Maybe he was working out on his own, maybe he was getting hammered on his boat, maybe he was getting harrassed by racist cops, maybe he was nailing that "witness" that called her dad when Benson was arrested...

well...the bears don't exactly have the best line for him to run behind and if he thinks the team is already on the verge of booting him, he has no reason to attend...It would be quite amusing if we found out that the arrest was set-up by Benson and the cops in collusion to get the bears to drop him...then the charges go away and he signs with another team of his choice....
