this franchise should be in re-hab. is there anyworse franchise in pro sports? they don't even have their own arena.

golfwacko.. well if you put it that way, neither do the Lakers.. they both share Staples and each plays their home games there so it's just as much as the Clips' joint as it is the Lakers'

Bigdog1002 - golfwacko may have a point. Do the Lakers and Clippers actually share ownership of Staples, and if so, who has the larger share? Or, do the Lakers own Staples and allow the Clippers to play there? What was the case when it was the Forum?

hes too short to play the 2, to slow (and fat) to guard any 2's & can't play point, buecause he's not a good enough ball handler & his mentality is to SHOOT, not distribute.
Great college player- YES.
But not NBA talent. If he goes top ten- then that teeams GM should be fired

AEG is the Owner of the Staple Center...and they are also privately held shares of the Los Angeles Lakers.............SO the clippers are renting space

Neither team owns it...Lakers played the forum and Clipps played the Sports Arena.

The Clippers are perennial losers. Does it matter who they draft? But in any case, when is having your own arena a must for pro sports.

Staples Center is actually shared by the Lakers, Kings, Clippers and Sparks. There might also be a pro hula hoop team that uses it as well. lmao

I'm 35 years old and the Clippers have been virtually horrible for my entire lifetime. They make disastroud decisions on regular basis. I'm not a proponent of drafting the best player available, but I think that is who they need to go with it. However, I think that player should be DJ Augustine from Texas. I'm telling you right now that he is THE BEST PG IN THIS DRAFT. Derrick Rose gets all of the hype because Memphis balled this year, but check their stats and you will see that Augustine was better than him in the regular season in just about every meaningful category. Augustine is a true PG and reminds me a lot of the last PG from Texas to get drafted in the lottery...TJ Ford. You see how Totronto became a playoff team the last 2 years once they got T Ford to be their starting PG. Augustine could pay similar dividends for the Clippers. Plus, his selection may make Elton Brand decide to stay rather than opt out.

Did you see the Texas-Memphis game in the tourney? Rose owned DJ. Now, DJ is going to be good. But he's not the best.

the knicks stink but they have won and contended for titles. what is the biggest accomplishment by the clipper. people in LA buy season tickets to clippers so they can go cheap when they play the lakers

Augustin or Westbrook. Augustin is the true PG whereas Westbrook is a combo-guard and the home-grown kid. Either of the two would be a better pick than Gordon in my opinion. Is Gordon the next Dajuan Wagner?

It's probably Augustin who could go to the pick just before for the Knicks.

don't forget all the Hannah Montana concerts held there....The Clipps did make it to the playoffs over the lakers 2 seasons ago and nearly clinched a spot last season...They've seen worse times like the entire 1990's. GO CLIPPS!

Da Bulls are planning to trade Hinrich. The Clippers should take their chance on Hinrich if not at least take a chance on OJ Mayo who is the next best ready PG.
