Hinrich in Bulls-Heat trade?

Even before Chicago won the NBA draft lottery Tuesday (and the chance to draft Memphis point guard and Chicago native Derrick Rose if it chooses), an Eastern Conference executive said the Bulls appeared willing to consider dealing point guard Kirk Hinrich. Hinrich now becomes a possible Heat trade option if the Bulls take Rose first and leave Kansas State power forward Michael Beasley for the Heat at No. 2.

BULLS= LUCKY **** TEAM!! LOL

Sounds like a good trade.
Hinrich is an unselfish point guard that should be good with D-Wade, and the Bulls can replace him with Derrick Rose from the draft.
The Heat will already get another big man in Beasley, so they need to upgrade at point guard anyway.
Whom would the Bulls get in return?

Bulls don't need a big man.....So Beasley goes to Miami! I would truly love to see Hinrick at Miami with Marion, Wade, Beasley

Can they get Marion for Hinrich and someone else??

The Bulls should enter the Carmelo sweepstakes now

Trade Hinrich, Gooden, Deng, and Thebo for Melo and Camby

Draft Rose

Bulls new starting 5:

Rose, Hughes, Melo, Noah, Camby with Nocioni, Tyrus, Ben Gordon off bench

HAHA Mike D'Antonio got SCREWED! Should have chose my BULLS!

The Bulls were a 50 win team only a season ago and now they have the number one pick thats both embarrasing and awesome at the same time for chi town. They become a very attractive coaching position now also. I expect them to make the playoffs next season.

White Sox Nation - you are correct that D'Antoni blundered in his coaching decision. However, it's no laughing matter. Don't forget - your Bulls also lost a good coach in D'Antoni. I'm sure the Bulls will do well with their new players, but they would be even better with D'Antoni.

Leaving Phoenix...............9 million

gettin the Knicks job............24 million

Watchin the Bulls get the #1 pick......................PRICELESS

HA HA HA HA D'Antoni

Miami needs to jump all over this trade. He is a good, smart and tough player.

May 21, 2008  08:28 AM ET

I'm thinking what would the Bulls get back in this deal................the only two players that are worth Kirk hinrich are D-Wade (not gonna happen) and Marion..............Marion would be nice fit for Chicago with Rose

May 21, 2008  08:37 AM ET

I don't see this trade happen. Bulls always wanted to get a low post scorer, now they have the opportunity to draft Beasley, so why would they want Rose, only because he's from Chicago. The Bulls then could trade Gooden or Thomas whoever can get them more in return for a backup center. and trade Gordon in a sign and trade and resign deng.

May 21, 2008  08:45 AM ET

Beasley is a combo forward, we already have a boatload of those with Deng,Nocioni,Thomas, and Noah. Rose is who we should draft and this deal will make perfect sense if the Heat can extend Marion so that the contracts are a wash.

May 21, 2008  08:47 AM ET

and yes i realize no one has officially mentioned Marion, but thats about all we would want unless we are planning on starting a new D-League franchise

May 21, 2008  08:50 AM ET

Send Deng, Nocioni, and Hinrich to Miami for the number 2 pick. I think Miami will be k with that and everyone will be happy

May 21, 2008  08:58 AM ET

Hopefully, Miami has more sense than to give up Marion for lesser value in Hinrich.
You Chicago fans are obviously following the greed-mentality of your former GM Jerry Krause, who thought he was entitled to getting the best players without giving up anything. As it turned out, sometimes he succeeded.
Anyway, Miami has other good players that could help the Bulls, and could be equal value for Hinrich. Hopefully, D-Wade and Marion are both off the table. If not, then Miami is just plain stupid, which may be the case.
We'll see.

Deng isn't going anywhere! This guy can flat out play. If they trade Deng they better get an all-star in return.

this trade should happen now, before the bulls management overthinks it and then it doesn't happen (Kobe, Garnett, Gasol) Marion would be perfect with Rose, Noah, Deng, and Gooden, bring gordan and Nocioni off the bench. Trying to get Carmello would be a nice fit too if they would take Deng, Gooden and Thomas for him and camby.
