The reason this a headline is because hes one of the best players left to have not signed. He has a good personality and looked like a project. Would have loved to have him. Crean wanted immediate help and was gonna play him; he will be probably be redshirted in his first year at Nova.

couldnt agree more about U of Md. Gary Williams is the worst recruiter and probably a maniac to play for. I'll be a fan again when he's gone.

How much local talent did the Maryland recent National Title team have? It seems like Gary is striking out big time lately with the primo Baltimore and DC talent. Especially with Syracuse raiding Baltimore and Georgetown re-capturing the DC market.

I will never understand U. of Maryland fans. That program would be nothing without Gary Williams. The guy got you a national title. He gets you to the tournament almost ever year in one of the toughest conferences. When he leaves, don't be surprised to see the school slip back to finishing eighth and ninth in the conference on a regular basis.

I am one of the most ardent Gary Williams and UMD fans, but that was the first thought that came to my mind. We couldn't beat out 'Nova, Seton Hall, and IU for this kid?
