Browns rule out Law, Sheppard
Already shorthanded at corner back, the Browns now must scramble to bring in one or two cor nerbacks with experience. General Manager Phil Savage all but ruled out unsigned, 14-year veteran Ty Law and Philadelphia's Lito Sheppard, who has been offered in trade and wants a new contract.

Sheppard would actually fit into what the browns need and are trying to do, quite nicely. Glad they aren't trying to acquire him.
Since I would prefer the Browns stay out of the playoffs.

You'll never get what you think you deserve for Lito, especially when he's looking to get paid on top of everything else. If he had a contract that teams could look at and say "yeah he's worth it", then maybe.
For us Giants fans, its very similar to the thing with Shockey. His issues will always reduce his value to less than what he's worth on the field.
