Former Utah Jazz guard Jeff Hornacek is next up today on Bulls general manager John Paxson's busy schedule of interviews with head-coaching candidates. Former Minnesota Timberwolves coach Dwane Casey was at the Berto Center on Thursday to talk with Paxson. Casey could land on the staff of new Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle if he doesn't get the Bulls' job."

The Bulls are going to blow it bigtime. With the wrong pick, and the wrong coach, they won't even improve over this year.

The Bulls have nice pieces. I think they need a defense oriented coach to come in. Especially if they get Rose. He plays good offense, but he needs a tough defensive minded coach to come in and get him right..

Dwayne Casey got screwed by the wolves, he was doing a good job with KG and crap until they fired him so they could make their bff whitman coach. I thin Casey would actually be a good hire.

Casey is a crook and an idiot.

Jeff Hornacek played and coached under the eyes of the great Jerry Sloan. If Hornacek (who went and played for my school) is half the coach Jerry Sloan is, Chicago will be in good hands.

Casey was just a scapegoat. He was 20-20 that season despite the fact the Wolves had a starting roster of

Mike James
Ricky Davis
Trenton Hassell
Kevin Garnett
Mark Blount

Winning that many games in the West with that roster is a miracle. It was McHale and Taylor who destroyed the team by cheating (and were punished by losing 3 first round draft picks), bringing in worthless FA's, and making bad trades.

Sloan is just what the Bulls need.

Why is AJ out of the coaching wheel? He's at best when he's teaching the younger guys, and that team seems like everything is going right for them, right down to Mark D not agreeing to be their coach!

Chicago's not going anywhere with this roster of talent- They are all pretty good players- but there are no great ones......
If Rose comes in (and I do think he will be GREAT) they still will need to refurbish their roster-
Lebron couldn't win with hughes & gooden , rose won't

Remeber, there's a differnece in being a title contender vs being a perrenial 4-5 seed in the plaoffs

I think the Bulls should get a coach soon and start lookin gat trade options and free agency. They seem a couple of players away, but they have a lot going for them.

Chicago, wake up! Throw a whole bunch of money at Van Gundy!

If Hornacek *wipes forehead* can bring a title to the Bulls, he will be one-step closer to edging out David Hasslehoff as Lyons' Township High School's most famous graduate. Go Lions.
