Minnesota coach Tubby Smith is in hot pursuit of 6-foot-6 Harrison Barnes, who played in former Tartan star Jake Sullivan's All-Iowa Attack AAU program in Ames. Florida, Texas and Kentucky also are after Barnes, who will be a junior next fall and is ranked in the top 15 nationally in his class by scouting services.

He comes March Madness for the Gophers for the first time in years. Stealing him away from Kentucky (stupid to chase him out by the way) was the best thing that could have happened to Minnesota Gopher Basketball! Get all of those recruits Tubby! We can use them for our upcoming Big Ten titles and National Championship runs!

glad to see that Tubby has decided to recruit again. That is what cost him the 'running out" of Kentucky. Sending his assistants {and their families} on recruiting trails. He had been non-existent in recruits homes for the last 2-3 years until the very end. Gillespie is there from DAY 1!
