Omar Minaya maintained on Wednesday that he had no regrets about how the Mets had handled Ryan Church's second concussion in 11 weeks, saying they based their decisions on regular consultations with Church and the team's medical staff. Minaya, the Mets' general manager, spoke to reporters for 15 minutes Wednesday afternoon, a day after several doctors with expertise in concussion management strongly criticized the Mets in interviews with The New York Times, saying the Mets' approach to Church over the last week had put him at medical risk.

Eat Randolph, poop Carter. Easy enough.

This is an easy decision:
If the doc says ok, then ok.
If the doc says no, then no.

Pretty simple.

No one should ever play Church. Church is a serious thing.

I wonder if this was why he wasn't even on the bench last night......

Another article I saw said Church had said, he'd felt dizzy and had, had headaches every day since his collision with Escobar. Surely if he says he isn't feeling great then he should not be playing! But then with the way the Mets are playing right now, maybe he felt the need to try and help his team out!!

Let's just say she was the Asiatic version of Mindy McCready and leave it at that ok?

I met Didi when she was 16 but I was in Mexico at the time so everything was legal.

Lets see...according to the mets players coaches and ownership over the last few weeks, heres what we know:

--The fans and media are rascist for criticizing the fine job of coaching done by future Hall of Fame coach, Willie Randolph.

--The doctors were all wrong, and mets personnell were right. Church did not experience any problems from playing while having a concussion. In fact, the mets still think it might have been menopause or associated with Ryans cycle.

--Wagner thinks the team he is one stinks.

I know I am missing something...

Maybe Minaya should go to "Church" and pray for forgiveness !!!

No one actually thinks the GREAT OMAR, WOULD EVER ADMIT TO MAKING A MISTAKE. Everything Omar and Randolph say is always sugarcoated and never will they come out and say that they screwed up. Church is obviously not okay and should not be playing until he is 100%.
