Pedro is worth every penny if he pulls a Mike Hampton and gets injured in warmups and never plays again. The Mets would be in their 2004 ineptitude if he didn't pave the way for good players to actually play for this team again.

Well at least the Mets won't have to worry about a collapse this season.....
