They should make the bats out of fossilized wood and those Sequoias and California redwoods. Make the game more interesting. Heck, maybe let the players harness their roid rage and let them tear the legs off fans and use them as bats.

am i the only one who thinks steroids was not the worst thing that happened to baseball? games are more exciting, guys are jackin HR's left and right, it's more entertaining...i by no means am a purist, i like to watch baseball for excitement and that is what the game is today...maple bats are a non issue as far as i'm concerned...and all of the people who wanna harp on steroids..well it has brought baseball back to the forefront after the TERRIBLE BS of a strike shotened season effectively ended the Expos miracle season and turned them into the Nats....perennial losers
