Meet Pacman's newest mentors

It's risky adding him to the Cowboys locker room, but Pacman Jones, who will wear Deion Sanders' No. 21, has reduced the odds that he will make poor decisions. He has aligned himself with Sanders and Michael Irvin, who were each among the city's biggest stars in their prime. If he can't learn from their mistakes and experiences, then it's his own fault. Sanders and Irvin are already rich and famous, which means they don't need anything from him. They don't have to stroke his ego.

I see that T&R's ratings were down again when there's nothing to hate on. Hence, two more Cowboy threads.

There may be three threads since Gooddell allowed him to workout with the team yesterday, stay tuned!

Dion Sanders and Michael Irvin are his mentors?
There so many jokes that can be inserted here, but I like the cowboys now that Zach Thomas went there so I wish them luck.

Im sure all the cowboys haters will come out for this one topic..

June 3, 2008  07:16 AM ET

Pacman has one chance, if he has half a mind he would stay clean. We'll see if he has half a mind

haha You called it. But really, I dont know if i want him to come back or not. One one hand you have that hes really good and could help them...OR he could blow up and destroy them. I hope for #2

Pacman has never been a problem in the locker room from what Ive read. Its off the field where he has problems. But now hes around people who have more than him. They can call him out on all the dumb things he might do. When youre with people who have less than you, theyll never tell you no or stop.

Ahhhh, I was jonesing for a useless pacman story.

Oh Goody.

All I can say is WOW. Cowgirls are really digging themselves and nice pit with this motley crew of "nobody wants". They're poster children for how to build a team of misfits and creatons. I can only image what will happen when the team hits rough times and all the individual personalities emerge, TO/ and Romo will cry and whine, Pacman and Tank will gamble and shoot someone at a local strip club. Keep up the good work Jones...the rest of the NFC is watching...and laughing.

Hey, I have "creatons" on my salad yesterday. They were good. Now, if I can only find the "cretin" that stole my breadsticks. Why, I'll murderize em!!

I'm more curious about how he'll play after a year off. If the guy has not learned anything from being on the sidelines for a year, then he's got some serious problems. Maybe Deion and Michael can take him shopping and pick him out some nice Zoot suits. Something in a bright yellow and platform shoes with the goldfish in them would look rather nice.

June 3, 2008  08:10 AM ET

creatins, creatons or croutons?.....lol

June 3, 2008  08:13 AM ET

And yet, your "disdain" is always forthcoming.
