T.O. to make Moss money
Every time he was asked this off-season, Pro Bowl wide receiver Terrell Owens expressed no worries about his future with the Cowboys. Now we know why. According to multiple sources, the Cowboys and Owens on Monday agreed to a four-year deal worth $34 million, including $13 million guaranteed. An official announcement is expected today. The contract compares to the three-year, $27 million contract Randy Moss received from New England in March, although Owens is three years older than Moss.

Wow. Jerry's on a spending spree. Oh well, only 13 million guarnateed. Sort of like Barber's. All of them are more than worth it and will show why this year. Superbowl baby. All the way!!
Go ahead, spread your hate. It don't matter to me.

Seems like fair market value. The Cowboys had little choice. Either let his contract run out and hope to pick up an elite receiver in FA next year, or pay TO. I don't think age is an issue, he stays in shape.
The leagues record for a team to draft a pro bowl type receiver is abysmal the last eight years. That is why you seee teams shy away from spending first round picks on them.

Maybe this is just me but what has Canty done for the Cowboys to resign him. I watch every Cowboy game and cant recall him make an impacting play. I would rather have an old Ellis or Taylor for 2 years over this average DE

Good one Jack........... I wonder who the scapegoat will be this year, 2 years ago drama with T.O. and butterfingers droped the ball then last year not so much drama and Romo took care of his butterfingers in a special way.

Really slow news. Boring....Page One should relate to maybe...winning a playoff game. These guys and their fans are as pathetic as the women (and men) who follow soap operas. Of course, most Cowboy fans probably do both.

Owens deserves his new deal, he was on a performance based no risk contract with Dallas, and he's proved himself worthy of an extension
