Ozzie's rant irks hitting coach

The fallout from Ozzie Guillen's Sunday rant about the White Sox's hitting may have claimed a longtime friendship when he mentioned Greg Walker among the potential casualties. Walker, the Sox's hitting coach for five years, spent Monday meeting with board Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf and barely concealed his displeasure toward Guillen, his Sox teammate for nearly all of the 1980s.

Ozzie and Walker need to take it to the Octagon....would be better than the Kimbo match for sure. Ozzie is a dirtbag and who ever says "it is Ozzie being Ozzie" has no clue what professionalism is. He is so quick to throw a "friend" under the bus during a tirade, it just goes to show superficial he really is. Attach any monicher you want to him..."favorite son", "local favorite" etc, any other team and this chump would have been gone so fast he wouldn't hear his own footsteps!

Greg, you are the hitting coach on a team that is not hitting. Your job should be in jeopardy regardless of what Ozzie says. They need to start hitting because the pitching has been outstanding. Sox should easily be 10-12 games over .500 right now.
